IT TAKES A VILLAGE AND A VINEYARD
We started our journey in 2015 when we bought 10 acres in Herald, CA—formerly the Cresci Vineyard. Gerald Cresci, a well-known wine judge, lecturer, and passionate home winemaker, poured his heart into this land. It truly was his labor of love.
Gary had always dreamed of making wine like his grandparents did in their basement. He studied enology at UC Davis and Napa Valley College, learning the craft from the ground up. As for me, when I retired, I just wanted to work in a winery tasting room—and somehow, here we are, owning one ourselves.
It’s taken years of hard work, but that dream has finally come to life.
